Comments: After calling several moving companies to gather bids for my move to San Antonio from Dallas I was most pleased with MoveCo. Tammy was very helpful duing the bid process. The most impressive was my move team! Carl was AWESOME! He worked like a dog in the pouring rain all day. Kevin & Christy worked right along side him. Comments: Our move with you came off without a hitch. Kevin and Nick did an excellent job. They were extremely careful with our furniture and we came away with no damage to any items, including glass on pictures and glass shelves. They had a difficult time with our 30 cubic foot refrigerator but worked it out with no problem. You guys will get our next move also, however, I hope that is some time away. Given the opportunity I would have no problem recommending your company, Kevin, Nick and the person I dealt with on the phone, I think her name was Tammy. Kevin and Cody were great !
They were very careful with everything and very strong. Kevin picked up my
260 lb TV like you would pick up a telephone. Amazing.
In any case, they did a superb job and we will recommend you to anyone that
is considering a move.
We would like to request Kevin and Cody again when we move from our storage
units to our new house once it is complete (probably about 6 months from
now).

Comments: Bobby and Nick were great! Moving is one of the most annoying processes I can think of but having two guys like Bobby and Nick made things a lot easier to stomach. Comments: It's been awhile since we moved but things have still been a bit crazy, and not quite settled down. The movers however, made what could have been the absolute most painful part of the entire process go smoothly and flawlessly for us. All the more so owing to the fact that I have epilepsy, and was experiencing petit mal seizures on packing day, so could not be much help. They all understood, and were very professional and got the job done and NOTHING was lost or broken, not even the things that mattered most to me. It was very gratifying to see that. They made a stressful process flow very smoothly and have made it one of the easiest things about moving from Wimberley to Houston for my family. Comments: Had the telephone company been as efficient in the transfer of service as Chris and Ray were on our move, the entire experience would have been much less stressful! The phone company took 2-weeks to get the service totally connected.
MoveCo.net did an excellent job! Chris and Ray arrived on time, did a good job of loading the truck and unloaded at the new location in record time. The total time for a 2-bedroom apartment move was less than four hours. I have moved interstate several times and have never had a move as smooth as the one with MoveCo.

Comments: Thanks to Carl and Ray for doing an amazing job for us. The steep stairs at the townhouse made this job a challenge and took an unexpected long amount of time. They worked from early morning until very late in the evening and never became impatient or rushed. They were highly professional and polite. I cannot express enough how much we appreciated their positive attitude and all the hard work they did.

Comments: WOW our movers were the best. Bobby. Arron, Shames, Johnothan, Nick, Jason. All of these guys were great. They were professional, polite and the took very good care of all of our things. We are almost done unpacking and we have not found a scratch on anything. We had two large statues that were almost 600 pounds each and they would not stop until they were wright were we wanted them. I recomend these guys to any one that is moving and the price was very fair.
There are many things that are very close to our hart and we pointed these items out to these guys and everyone of them packed our special items with love.

Comments: Hi! I just wanted to let your company know that everything was great! The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful when I called to schedule our move. We even had to reschedule due to a death in the family. Owen and Josh were great!!! They arrived at 8:00 am and even allowed us to add some more items to our original bill. They moved everything and did not break/scratch a single item. They were both very personable and moved everything efficiently. I told my realtor about our experience and she took your information and will be passing it on to her other clients in need of a moving service. I do not know of anyone in need of a moving service now, but I will be sure to pass on your contact information when I do. I had heard horror stories from other friends and families regarding moving services, but I cannot express how pleased my husband and I both were with this moving experience. Thanks again!

Comments: The 3 guys who came were terrific guys who worked hard, were trustworthy and pleasant. I was very pleased with this. I was NOT pleased that they were supposed to show up at 8am and didn't arrive until noon, because of 2 things a) a different crew didn't show up and they had to cover for them b) the "small" move that they were covering wasn't small at all so it took them 4hrs. I wasn't happy that the dispatchers didn't proactively call me, explain the situation and reset my appt first thing when they realized this was the case. I called at 10am, was told "they'll be there shortly". Then at 10:15am the truck lead called and said "sorry but we won't be there until noon". I wish that someone had called earlier so that we could have done other things rather than waiting around for 4 hrs for the crew. I wanted to write to tell you how pleased we were with your moving services. We had moved just 6 months prior from New Jersey and decided to return. Moving 2 times in 6 months is a lot of stress. However from the start your company was always available to reassure us. Our move went off without a hitch thanks to your commitment to your customers and upholding the promises you make. The men who moved us, Carl and Kevin were absolutely the best! They calmed my nerves the day they came and totally put me at ease. Carl and Kevin were a great team who worked tirelessly and kept an incredible attitude. I also have to comment that our house in Texas had knotty pine molding throughout which easily dents, yet Carl and Kevin never once hit, bumped the molding once-they were just awesome!
When they arrived in New Jersey at our new house, it was like seeing old friends! Again both worked tireless and with good humor.
Now that we are unpacked I can honestly say nothing was damaged lost or broken. Thank you MoveCo for a GREAT moving experience.

By far, and I mean by far, Move Co. was the best experience I have ever had with the whole moving hassle.

Comments: Michael and Jeff did an excellent job. I had an awful move about 3 1/2 years ago with lots of damage and missing items. I was really worried that this would be the same. The staff reassured me and suggested I contact the Better Business Bureau. I did, and I found that your company had the fewest complaints of the ten or so movers that I looked up online. The move went great! Michael and Jeff were on time and very friendly. They were efficient and careful. I had no damage, and everything was placed where I asked. I have already been telling my friends and co-workers what a wonderful job you all did. The staff at the office was incredibly nice. I really liked being able to change online my list of things to move. The updated quote was very helpful. I really appreciated being called several times to confirm the date and time of the move. I was also very happy because this was done on only a week's notice. I would definitely use your company again if I move. Thank you so much.

Mike and Jared arrived within the alloted time slot. They were very polite, and moved everything quickly. They did forget to reconnect the Washer/dryer, and I had to run out to the truck to remind them, but that's partially my fault as I was chatty and distracting them with other things. Great job! Comments: We have got to respond to you to let you know that we were very impressed with Divinci and Jared, they were extremely polite, very careful and went over an above what we considered their role in a move. Jared was kind enough to tell us that we had a leak on our washer dryer connection at the old house, which he told us how to fix it. We were so surprised that 2 people could move our whole house in 6 hours and without damaging a thing. They took beds apart for us and just went above and beyond. There was not one scratch or mark on any of our furniture or on the walls from this move. We would highly recommend your service especially if all your movers are like Jared and Devinci. If we do ever move again we would definitely use your service but we would also request the same movers if they are still with you.
The efficiency of MoveCo.Net was very impressive, it was such an easy no hassle move, we could add things to our list or take things off the list without any hassle at all, keep up the good work.

I was just glad he wasn't standing on the carpet when he did so. The 3 gentlemen that moved me were wonderful! They put everything where I wanted it and they were such a pleasure to work with. They had me loaded up w/in about an hour and were just as quick getting me unloaded. They were very friendly and courteous and my 11 year old daughter was exchanging recipes with one of the fellas. Very nice crew you have working for you!
The office staff was fabulous! I changed the items I was going to move like 4 times and each time they sent me a revised quote. The day before the move the office called just to make sure I didn't have any questions. I've never had a moving company do that before. Just a real pleasure to work with. Comments: Although there was a communication blip and my move was erroneously scheduled for the "next day," Greg, Jeff, and Carl really came through for us. They came in late in the afternoon "like the cavalry." 3 guys, 2 trucks, and in a little over an hour had everything safely loaded and on it's way. Less than 2 hours later, the job was completed. MoveCo.net showed up at their scheduled time with a two man team of movers, Jeff and Owen. Both gentlemen were courteous and moved my furniture with care. They even moved my pride and joy piece -- 56" HDTV and 3 piece wall unit with leaded glass fronts.
They followed us to our storage unit and loaded stuff from there, too. From the storage unit, it was off to the new place.
They unloaded our stuff and placed it where we wanted the pieces to go. We were so pleased, we bought them lunch and gave them each a cash tip, too.

Comments: Moveco moved our family of 6 and most of the stuff that went with it. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We did have a few things broken and received an attitude from Diamond. We had a little bit of an issue when we arrived at the new house and he stressed out. My husband and I were willing to do whatever to make it easier, but it was overwhelming to him. He made several derogatory comments and was very moody. However, Zach and David were great!!! Zach was more than willing to help figure out how to overcome the obstacle to get the job done. Diamond just wanted to keep the truck loaded and try again another day. That might work for some, but with us everything we needed to function normally with 4 kids was in that truck. We would have not had a place to sleep, etc. Not the answer that would have been something we could work with.

Going from a 5 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment was scary enough but the thought of moving my over sized furniture from the 80's in and out of a truck and then into an elevator and then into an apartment had me horrified. Your crew was friendly, kind and courteous and careful with my personal property. They took care not to bang the walls going out of the old location or into the new location. I was very nervous at first but after they wrapped my first piece of furniture and secured it to the wall of the truck I relaxed and enjoyed the comfort in knowing that MoveCo cares.
Would I use them again the answer would be yes! Would I recommend them the answer would be yes! In closing I’d also like to personally thank Duke who commanded the entire move and made things happen, as they needed to happen. MoveCo is a member of the Better Business Bureau and they have proven to me as one of the Bureau’s District Managers that I personally made the right choice in choosing MoveCo for my transport company. Comments: This was my first time using a moving company, so I was a little nervous. I decided on Moveco.net because, although they were were the most expensive of the quotes I got, they had the fewest complaints with the BBB (only one, when I did my research) of any of the companies I looked at. I also liked how they posted all their testimonials (positive as well as the few negative) on the website.
The move was very smooth. Karl and David were friendly, courteous and professional. I was assigned the "window" of noon to 2 pm; they arrived about 12:45 pm and were finished with the move (a one bedroom apartment to a house) in about 90 minutes. They didn't ask me to help, no last minute price changes, or any of the other things I've heard about happening at other moving companies.

My son and I left in two cars -- his car stuffed to the gills with clothes, 3 cases of wine and a hyper dog -- and me in my small miata. Halfway from Dallas to Austin, his car breaks down! The car gets towed & all our stuff is piled on the ground. Imagine the scene. Imagine the heat. Bless their hearts -- the movers caught up with us on the freeway, grabbed all our extra stuff and loaded it onto the truck. I don't know what I would have done without them. And NO EXTRA CHARGE. Comments: The move went OK. You were flexible with changing dates and very accomodating. However, while the fact that the movers were dripping sweat on my unprotected couches is not very pleasing. This is not a professional way to handle a move. It was not just a little sweat, it was dripping wet. As you can imagine, we are having a hard time sitting on the couches. When I suggested that you pay to get the couches cleaned, you said you preferred to go through the BBB than to spend $200 on making your customer happy. It was disappointing that you were not willing to fix this to make a customer happy. I will have to pay for the cleaning myself but will work through the BBB as you suggested to try to get the money back. I strongly suggest that you train your movers to cover furniture and protect it. Damage can mean different things to different people and a couch full of germs and a stranger's sweat definitely qualifies in my book. Comments: Worst experience of my life. The guy boosted up my estimate, then complained the whole time about the move, saying that he wasn't getting payed enough. When I told him it was no longer a negotiation, he held my stuff ransom on the truck untill I would pay him... prior to finishing the job. Then, when we got the last big load up to storage, he left me and his partner to move it in. He was abbrasive and a con artist. I called the office several times, left at least one message explaining that we were having some trouble and they never returned one of my calls.
We, at MoveCo.net, do everything we can to make our customers happy. However, we do not move things for free. His move like every other customer's move on this message board was based on an item list emailed to him before move day. On move day, add-ons are handled the same way. A new price is issued based on the new item list.I have not had any other complaints on this crew before. Comments: We scheduled our move 3 weeks prior to our move, informing the company of all our items to be moved, the situation of being on a 3rd floor apartment. Our move was a disaster from the start with MoveCo. We were scheduled to be moved on May, 28th between the hours of 12:00 pm - 2:00pm, The movers did not show up until 3:30pm,After getting there, seeing our apartment, we were told they could not move us without a third person, We were then scheduled for the following day.
The move went fairly smooth until they moved us into our house, They had taken my computer desk apart afterI informed the movers not to, They did not assemble it together right. When they re-assembled it, they locked it and I will have to get a lock smith, to unlock it. We felt like we were over charged, after stating we had between 30-40 boxes, when in fact there were only 7 boxes, and other items that were not on our previous inventory, that we had moved our selves, No price adjustment was ever made to us. After several attempts to obtain a receipt, we still have not gotten one. The movers were friendly, but not as careful with our items as we would of preferred. Final Thoughts before considering a move with MoveCo, make sure all items on your inventory list are corrected before hand, and that the price has been adjusted.
The arrival time was scheduled between 12 o'clock and 2 o'clock. The crew arrived 1 hour and a half out of the window. I do apologized for this. The reason was simple: the move before took longer than anticipated.When the crew arrived (it was raining heavily), it was determined it would be better to reschedule the move for the following day, because they were a 65 inch TV that had to go around a very tight stair case and down 3 flight of stairs and required a 3rd person. I sent a 3 men crew at no additional charge the next day. The 7 boxes were oversized boxes at $3.00 a piece. The 40 regular boxes are $1.00 a piece to move. The difference was only $5.00. The driver should have corrected it on move day, and I am issuing a refund. The customer received a receipt by email before she even asked for it. I don't understand their comment about a receipt. I submitted a quote and shortly received a call from Duke. Duke was very friendly and professional over the phone, he answered all my questions clearly. Duke got me set up with a quote, explained how things would work and scheduled a move date and time. As my move date got closer Duke gave me a call confirming my reservation. When the movers showed up I met Diamond and Devan, both guys very friendly. They entered my apartment a list of items to be moved. Diamond proceeded to ask about little objects that they could move if I wanted. The guys began to move my funiture. As my wife and I watched them load everything we knew our valuables were in good hands. We got to our new place, Diamond and Devan were once again courteous and professional with our furniture. They took the time to listen and accept placement directions from us. All in all I would use MoveCo again and refer anybody I know to them. This team of movers however were over an hour and a half late (eating breakfast was what I heard) and then took almost 4 hours to get from Texoma to D/FW. If they were caught in construction on I-35, they were warned that it existed and not to go that way. Because they were so late getting there, the rain started and consequently water and dirt were tracked in plus the furniture got damp. I'm just glad it wasn't a downpour. Also there is now a large scratch on the front of the microwave. It was very awkward around my family and pretty embarassing after I had given such a glowing recommendation about this company. Comments: I had reserved my move back in February. No one called me, so I called a week before my move just to confirm I was on the schedule and everything was set. I also confirmed then that I would be the morning stop, between 8am - 9am.
At 10am, still no crew was there. I had talked to Duke several times. But even when he called the crew on their cell phone, they did not answer. Which to me, made the crew look even more unreliable -- not answering the phone when their boss is calling them!!??
At 10am, I refused to wait any longer since I had a car packed full of stuff and could be doing other things then sitting on my butt wasting time. Duke & I rescheduled with another crew for that afternoon between 1-2pm.
That crew showed up on time, was very friendly and quick. They were aware of the situation that had occurred that morning.
With all that had happened, I was told by many that I should have received a discount or something for the inconvenience of the crew being unreliable and a no show. I did not ask for one, but one should have been offered. Afterall, this move had been schedule since February.

Comments: First of all, the movers did not show up until 12:20 pm and were scheduled to show up between 10 am and 12 pm. Secondly, there were a few damages to furniture during the move. My desk was scratched and a chest of drawers was completely ruined (it barely stood up without falling over and the drawers would not go in because of structural damage; so we had to replace the chest of drawers). And last, we were charged $335.20 when the email that was sent with the final amount showed $315.20; and the movers seemed disappointed that we did not give them a tip! A long day for them, but they got us into our new home on the same day. Two story house, five steps up to the first floor, LOTS of HEAVY furniture -
And two days before the move, I added MANY items to my original list. I thought my estimate would probably DOUBLE but they only added $70 - I almost fainted with joy.
Extremely reasonable, very personalable - hard workers ...

Comments: The move went very well, for the most part. The "Pick-Up portion, by Robert and Ed was VERY professional. I was impressed by the care in the way the handled our belongings and the expedience in how they worked. After everything was loaded and the move was paid, I ruminated about whether I had tipped them enough. Conversely, on the "Drop-Off" portion, by Desmond and JD, I was not near as impressed. Several pieces of furniture had been disassembled on the pick-up and the implicit expectation was that it would have been reassembled on the drop-off. Not the case and I had not been apprised. Desmond and JD had NO tools and were convinced the refrigerator would not fit in its space. The fact is that with a couple of tools and a measuring tape, the refrigerator did fit. Desmond and JD were ready to collect their tip and move to the next customer before they were finished with us. After giving them their tip, I thought hard that I over-tipped them and wished I had given more to Robert and Ed. Comments: I wish I would have seen the comments from the other person who was not satisfied. I have a large amount of furniture and other valuables and this move was horrible. I have several pieces of furniture that have big scratches and gauges in them. They tore the wires on a plug and did not tell me. I noticed it when the piece was brought into the house and when I asked the mover he shrugged his shoulders and said "so what". I told Duke repeatedly this would be a all day move and he assurred me it wouldn't. Well it was and I can tell they literally threw my belongings on the truck and do not know how to load a truck. I told Duke I would need the 32 foot truck at least (which they brought) but still needed to load on the back of a pickup truck and some items on the pickup were damaged. All of my furniture needs repairs and I am getting ready to go to battle now that I am somewhat settled and I think I may have found all the damage. The movers are not honest and forthright. Comments: I thought this was a reputable company, but I was wrong. The movers hid a broken painting behind several others I had so I wouldn't find it for days. They weren't honest enough to tell me they broke it. Then, when Duke arranged for a furniture repair rep to come to my house and look at the painting, plus the broken timer on my dryer, this rep kept saying he would call to let me know when he was coming but never did. This is Herbert Starks from Starks Furniture Repair. I took 2 days off work waiting for him to call and arrive but he never did, and he lied to Duke saying he didn't set the appointment up with me.

Just a note to tell you how pleased we were with our move to Gun Barrel City. Robert was on time, did a great job loading, packing and unloading. They were very courteous and professional, plus there were no damaged items or surprises.
