MoveCo Celebrates 25 Moving Seasons in Lewisville With Hot Dogs, Coloring Books and Balloons

On September 20, 2026, the MoveCo family threw a party to celebrate a milestone we are proud of: 25 moving seasons.

MoveCo was established in January 2001. We waited until we had finished our 25th busy season to celebrate, because that's what this business is about. Every season is a whole summer of loading trucks, carrying boxes, and helping families start over in a new home. Twenty-five of them felt like something worth marking.

And what a day it was. We served more than 160 hot dogs. The kids went home with balloons and coloring books, and plenty of smiles. It was the kind of simple, happy afternoon that reminds us why we love doing this work right here in North Texas.

The best part wasn't the food or the balloons. It was the people. So many folks from our community reached out to congratulate us and share their good wishes. Some of you have moved with us once. Some of you have moved with us more than once. Some of you just know our trucks from around town. Every message meant a lot, and we're grateful for each one.

A Lewisville Moving Company Built on Trust

Owner Duke Watrous has worked in the moving business since 1997. Over the years he's been a driver, a packer, an estimator and a dispatcher, so he knows every part of a move from the inside. That experience is the reason MoveCo was built around a simple idea: treat every customer's home and belongings the way you'd want your own treated.

Twenty-five seasons later, that idea still guides everything we do. Whether it's a small apartment move in Lewisville or a full household move across North Texas, our crews show up ready to work and ready to take care of you.

Coloring Books With a Moving Twist

Moving can be a big, confusing change for little kids. That's why Duke wrote Moving Day: Coloring Book Edition, a coloring book that helps young children get ready for a move while they have some fun. Thank You, North Texas

To everyone who came out, ate a hot dog, picked up a balloon, or simply sent us a kind word: thank you. You are the reason MoveCo has made it to 25 moving seasons, and we can't wait to keep serving our neighbors for many more.
